We bring the tyre shop to the car
800 Tyres started in 2016 with one van in Al Quoz and a simple idea: nobody should have to drive on a damaged tyre to get it fixed.
How it started
The first calls came from people stuck in tower basements with a flat — places recovery trucks can't reach and where nobody wants to change a wheel in a suit. One van became a small fleet, and Dubai became Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The idea hasn't changed: a trained technician comes to the car, does the job properly and charges the price agreed before they set off.
How we work
- Fixed prices, published. Tyre change from AED 100. Every other service has a starting price on this site, and we confirm the full price in writing before dispatch.
- Fresh tyres only. We show the DOT manufacture date on every tyre before fitting. UAE rules treat tyres as expired five years after manufacture; we won't fit anything close to that.
- Done to spec. Wheels are balanced on the van's machine, nuts torqued to the manufacturer's figure, and pressures set for your car and the season.
- Old tyres recycled. We take them away to a licensed recycler at no extra cost.
What's in a van
Each van carries a tyre changing machine, a wheel balancer, a compressor and nitrogen, low-profile trolley jacks for basements, a calibrated torque wrench, TPMS tools, puncture repair kits and stock of the most common sizes. Wheel alignment and rim repair are done at partner workshops near you.
The technicians
Our technicians are trained in-house on everything from a Sunny's 15-inch steel wheel to a Rolls-Royce's 23-inch alloy, including run-flat tyres and EV tyres with foam inserts. They're in uniform, carry ID, and their name and live location are shared with you when they're dispatched.
