Tyre shop Sharjah

The short answer

800 Tyres is a mobile tyre shop serving Sharjah, with technicians arriving in about 40 minutes on average, 24 hours a day. Tyre fitting is AED 100 per visit, puncture repair from AED 80 and new tyres from AED 150 each. We cover Al Nahda, Al Taawun, Muwaileh and the rest of the city, and accept card, cash, Tabby and Tamara.

Tyres in Sharjah without the industrial-area trip

For most Sharjah drivers, buying tyres means a Saturday in the industrial area: driving from shop to shop, haggling, waiting while they look for your size, and hoping the tyres are not old stock. It works, but it eats half a day, and if your tyre is already flat you are not driving anywhere.

We bring the shop to you. Our vans carry a tyre changer, wheel balancer, compressor, nitrogen and common sizes, so the job is done in your building's parking or on the street outside your villa. Average arrival in Sharjah is about 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

Where we work in Sharjah

We cover the whole city and its main residential districts. The busiest for us are:

  • Al Nahda — towers on the Dubai border, many with tight basement ramps.
  • Al Taawun — corniche towers where street parking is scarce and basement work is the norm.
  • Muwaileh — villas, university traffic and family SUVs.
  • Al Majaz, Al Khan, Al Qasimia and the commercial streets around Rolla.

The "Sharjah is cheaper" question

People often tell us tyres are cheaper in Sharjah than in Dubai. Walk-in prices at some Sharjah shops can be a little lower, especially for balancing. But the price on the board is rarely the price you pay once balancing, valves, disposal and "this size is special" are added. And the cheapest tyres on a shop floor are often the oldest.

Our price is the same in Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and it is the full price:

Before you pay anywhere, compare the total fitted price for four tyres, and ask to see the DOT date. A tyre made four years ago has one year of validity left in the UAE.

Cars in Sharjah often spend the day in open-air parking, which ages tyres quickly. Check the DOT date on all four tyres and the spare at least once a year. In the UAE a tyre is valid for five years from manufacture, and driving on unfit tyres can mean an AED 500 fine, four black points and impoundment of the car.

Fitting tyres around the Sharjah commute

Many of our Sharjah customers work in Dubai and spend an hour or more each way on Al Ittihad Road or Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. Nobody wants to add a tyre-shop visit to that. Book us for early morning before you leave, the evening after you get back, or late at night — we work 24 hours, and the price does not change. The technician can work while the car stays parked and you stay at home.

Alignment and rim repair in Sharjah

Wheel alignment and rim repair need a fixed workshop, so for those we book a partner workshop at our published prices: alignment from AED 99 for a sedan and AED 149 for an SUV, cosmetic rim repair from AED 150 per wheel. You know the price before you go.

Booking in Sharjah

Send your location and a photo of the tyre size on WhatsApp, or call us. We send options at two or three price levels, confirm the arrival time and dispatch the van. Payment is after the job by card, cash, Tabby or Tamara. More on our Sharjah coverage is on the Sharjah page.

Many Sharjah residents pick up a puncture on the Dubai side of the border — on Al Khail Road, in a Deira office car park or in a mall basement. You do not need to limp back to Sharjah. The same vans, prices and payment options apply in Dubai, so we come to the car wherever it is. If you would rather have the work done at home that evening, fit the spare where you are and book a Sharjah visit for later. Either way you pay one fitting fee per visit, and the spare goes back in the boot when the new tyre is on.

Flat tyre on the Patrol at 11 pm outside the house. Technician was there in 35 minutes, had the right 20-inch tyre in the van and finished in half an hour. Price was exactly what they told me on WhatsApp.

Booked a set of four Michelins for my CR-V. They fitted them in the basement of my building while I was on calls. Showed me the manufacture date on each tyre before fitting, which nobody has ever done for me.

Screw in my tyre on a Friday morning. They plugged it in the car park, checked the other three and set the pressures. AED 80, done in 20 minutes.

Paid with Tabby for new tyres on the Range Rover — split into four, no interest. The guy was careful with the wheels and left the driveway cleaner than he found it.

Common questions

Common questions

Are tyres cheaper in Sharjah than in Dubai?

Some walk-in shops quote slightly lower base prices, but extras and old stock often close the gap. Our prices are the same in both emirates and include disposal.

Do you cover the Sharjah industrial areas?

Yes. We come to cars and fleets parked in Sharjah's industrial areas as well as residential districts like Al Nahda, Al Taawun and Muwaileh.

How long does a technician take to reach me in Sharjah?

About 40 minutes on average, depending on traffic. The dispatcher confirms a time for your location when you book.

Can you change tyres in a Sharjah tower basement?

Yes. Our low-profile jacks and battery tools work in tight basements in Al Taawun and Al Nahda. Send us the level and bay number.

Flat tyre? A technician can be on the way in minutes.

Send your location and a photo of the tyre sidewall. We'll confirm the price and arrival time straight away — 24 hours a day.
