24-hour tyre service, at the daytime price

What 24 hours actually means here

Plenty of tyre services say "24/7" and then stop answering at midnight, or answer and quote double. Our vans are on the road through the night across Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, every day of the year including Fridays, Eid and New Year's Eve. The price list does not change after dark: tyre change and flat tyre call-outs are AED 100 per visit, puncture repair is from AED 80, and new tyres are priced exactly as they are in the afternoon.

The calls we get after midnight

Night work has its own pattern. These are the situations we see most between 10 pm and 6 am:

• Landing at DXB or AUH after a long trip and finding a flat in the airport car park.
• A blowout on the E311 or E11 on the way back from Abu Dhabi or Ras Al Khaimah.
• Shift workers — nurses, cabin crew, hotel staff — who find a soft tyre at the end of a shift.
• The 5 am discovery: a tyre that lost pressure overnight, and a school run at 7.
• Delivery and fleet drivers who need the vehicle working before the morning shift.

In each case the job is the same as in daytime. The difference is that a shop is closed and we are not.

Staying safe while you wait at night

A flat at night is more dangerous than the same flat in daylight, mainly because other drivers see you later. If you are on a highway:

1. Indicate and move fully onto the hard shoulder, or better, take the next exit.
2. Switch on hazard lights and sidelights.
3. Get everyone out on the side away from traffic and stand behind the barrier, not beside the car.
4. Place the warning triangle well behind the car if it is safe to walk there.
5. Send us your live location rather than a description; at night landmarks are harder to spot.

While you wait, clear information saves the most time. Send your live location pin rather than an address, a photo of the tyre size on the sidewall, and a photo of the damage if you can safely take one. Tell us whether there is a usable spare in the boot and whether the wheels have locking nuts. If you are parked in a basement or a gated community, include the gate or level details, because security desks can be slow to answer late at night.

Night arrival times

Average arrival is about 30 minutes in Dubai and about 40 minutes in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Late at night the roads are quieter and many jobs are quicker, but the dispatcher still gives you a realistic time for your location before you confirm. If you are somewhere remote — a desert track off the Al Ain road, say — tell us, so we can plan the route.

What we can fix at 3 am

The night vans are equipped exactly like the day vans: tyre changer, balancer, compressor, nitrogen, torque wrench and a stock of common sizes. That means a night call can end with a new tyre fitted and balanced, not just a space-saver and a "go to a shop tomorrow". For less common sizes, such as 22-inch tyres for a Range Rover or a specific run-flat for a BMW X5, we fit your spare overnight and return with the right tyre at a time that suits you. Paying at night

Card, cash, Tabby and Tamara all work at any hour. The technician takes payment after the job and the receipt is sent on WhatsApp. If you need tyres you had not budgeted for at 2 am, Tabby or Tamara split the cost into four interest-free payments.

Avoiding the night call next time

Most night call-outs we attend trace back to something visible earlier: a tyre more than five years past its DOT date, tread close to 1.6 mm, or pressure that was never checked in the summer heat.
