Tyre repair near me

The short answer

For tyre repair near you, 800 Tyres sends a technician to your car, averaging about 30 minutes in Dubai and 40 minutes in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. A tread-area puncture is repaired from AED 80; if the damage cannot be safely repaired, we fit your spare or a new tyre for AED 100 plus the tyre. Service runs 24/7 at the same price.

How we get a technician to you

A puncture rarely happens somewhere convenient. It shows up as a low-pressure warning on Al Khail Road, a soft tyre in the Ibn Battuta car park, or a flat discovered at 6 am before the school run. Driving to a puncture shop on a soft tyre can turn a AED 80 repair into a new tyre, because the sidewall gets crushed between rim and road.

So we do it the other way round. Send your live location on WhatsApp or call us. The dispatcher picks the nearest free van and tells you an arrival time before you confirm. In Dubai the average is about 30 minutes; in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, about 40. Traffic affects both, and we would rather give you a real number than a hopeful one.

What to send while the van is on its way

  • A photo of the damaged area, showing where the nail, screw or cut is. Tread, shoulder or sidewall makes all the difference.
  • A photo of the tyre size on the sidewall, such as 215/60 R16, so the van can load a replacement just in case.
  • Whether you have a usable spare and whether the car has run-flat tyres (many BMWs and Minis do, and have no spare).
  • Exact position: building name, basement level and bay, or the nearest exit number if you are on a highway.

Repair or replace: how the technician decides

Not every damaged tyre should be repaired, and a technician who plugs everything is doing you no favours. These are the rules we apply on site:

What we findOur callTypical cost
Nail or screw in the central tread, hole up to about 6 mmRepair with a plug-patch from insideFrom AED 80
Puncture near the shoulder or on the sidewallReplace — sidewalls flex and cannot hold a repairAED 100 fitting + tyre
Tyre driven flat for any distanceInspect the inner liner; replace if marked or creasedDepends on inspection
Bulge, deep cut or crackingReplaceAED 100 fitting + tyre
Run-flat tyre after running deflatedUsually replace, following the tyre maker's adviceRun-flats from AED 500
Tyre older than five years from its DOT dateReplace — repairing an expired tyre makes little senseNew tyres from AED 150

If we recommend replacement, we show you why: the cord damage, the bulge or the DOT code. You can still choose to fit your spare and decide later.

What tyre repair costs

A standard puncture repair is from AED 80 and includes removing the tyre from the rim, repairing from the inside, refitting, balancing check and setting pressure. If the visit ends up as a spare swap or a new tyre, it becomes a AED 100 fitting visit plus the price of any tyre. There is no extra charge for nights, weekends or Eid. The full step-by-step of the repair itself is on our puncture repair service page.

While you wait

If you are at home or in a car park, stay put and do not keep driving to "make it to a shop". If you are on a road like Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, get onto the hard shoulder or the next exit, switch on hazard lights, get everyone out on the barrier side and place the warning triangle behind the car. Our page on getting help with a flat tyre covers the roadside safety steps in more detail.

After the repair

A properly repaired tyre can last its remaining life, but keep an eye on it for the first week. Check the pressure cold, in the morning, on day two and day seven. If it drops more than 2 psi, send us a message and we will check the repair. Also note the tyre's DOT date — if it is approaching five years old, the repair buys time, not years.

Slow punctures and pressure warnings

Not every repair call starts with a flat. Many begin with a tyre that loses 3 or 4 psi a week, or a pressure warning that keeps coming back after you top up at a petrol station. The usual causes are a small nail still sitting in the tread, a leaking valve core, or corrosion on the rim edge that stops the bead sealing. A technician can find all three on site: the tyre is inflated, sprayed and checked, and the valve is tested. A corroded bead seat is cleaned and sealed while the tyre is off the rim. Topping up every few days hides the problem, and a tyre that runs under-inflated in summer heat wears the shoulders and builds up heat at speed, so it is worth sending a technician sooner rather than later.

Flat tyre on the Patrol at 11 pm outside the house. Technician was there in 35 minutes, had the right 20-inch tyre in the van and finished in half an hour. Price was exactly what they told me on WhatsApp.

Booked a set of four Michelins for my CR-V. They fitted them in the basement of my building while I was on calls. Showed me the manufacture date on each tyre before fitting, which nobody has ever done for me.

Screw in my tyre on a Friday morning. They plugged it in the car park, checked the other three and set the pressures. AED 80, done in 20 minutes.

Paid with Tabby for new tyres on the Range Rover — split into four, no interest. The guy was careful with the wheels and left the driveway cleaner than he found it.

Common questions

Common questions

Can you repair a tyre with a screw in it?

Usually, yes, if the screw is in the central tread and the hole is no bigger than about 6 mm. We remove the tyre and fit a plug-patch from the inside, from AED 80.

Is it safe to drive to a puncture shop on a slow puncture?

Only a short distance at low speed if the tyre still holds most of its pressure. Driving on a soft tyre damages the sidewall and often means the tyre cannot be repaired.

Do you repair tyres in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi too?

Yes. Repair prices are the same in all three emirates, with average arrival around 40 minutes in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.

Why would you refuse to repair my tyre?

We do not repair sidewall or shoulder damage, tyres driven flat with a damaged liner, or holes larger than about 6 mm, because those repairs can fail at speed.

Flat tyre? A technician can be on the way in minutes.

Send your location and a photo of the tyre sidewall. We'll confirm the price and arrival time straight away — 24 hours a day.
